The Legal Bit

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

⚡ The plain-English version

You must be 18+ and a UK resident. Answer the skill question correctly to enter. Every competition has a free postal entry route. Draws are random, streamed live, and every competition has a guaranteed winner. Entries are non-refundable once you're in the draw. Bikes are off-road vehicles — riding them is at your own risk. The full terms below are what legally applies.

1The Promoter

1.1 The promoter is WGTCOMPETITIONS LIMITED ("Promoter", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17348099, with registered office at Elmhurst 98–106 High Road, London, England, E18 2QH, operating competitions via wgtcompetitions.com and associated social media channels (the "Platform"). Contact: support@wgtcompetitions.com.

1.2 By entering any competition you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not enter.

2The Competitions

2.1 We operate skill-based prize competitions ("Competitions") with prizes including electric bikes, parts and bundles as described on each competition page.

2.2 Each Competition states its prize, ticket price, maximum number of tickets, any per-person entry limit, and closing date on its competition page. Odds depend on the number of tickets sold, which is capped at the stated maximum.

2.3 Every Competition includes a free postal entry route (Clause 4). Entry requires the correct answer to a question requiring skill and judgement. These Competitions are prize competitions operated in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and are not lotteries, betting or gaming.

2.4 We may add, amend or withdraw Competitions at our discretion. Changes will not affect entries already accepted.

3Eligibility

3.1 Competitions are open only to UK residents aged 18 or over. Proof of age and identity will be required before any prize is released.

3.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone directly connected with running a Competition may not enter.

3.3 One customer account per person. Entries made through duplicate accounts, on behalf of someone else, or by any automated means will be void.

3.4 We may verify eligibility at any time and disqualify, without refund, any entrant who does not meet these criteria or who provides false information.

4How to Enter

4.1 Paid entry: choose your ticket quantity on the competition page, answer the skill question correctly, and complete checkout. Your entry is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed; you will receive email confirmation with your ticket number(s).

4.2 Free postal entry: send an unenclosed postcard with your full name, postal address, email address, date of birth, telephone number, the competition name, and your answer to that competition's skill question to: WGTCOMPETITIONS LIMITED, Elmhurst 98–106 High Road, London, England, E18 2QH. One entry per postcard, one postcard per envelope; bulk or photocopied entries are void. Postal entries must be received before the closing date and are entered into the draw on identical terms to paid entries.

4.3 Any stated per-person entry limit applies across paid and postal entries combined.

4.4 Late, incomplete, illegible or misdirected entries are not accepted. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

4.5 Cancellation rights: by completing checkout you request immediate entry into the Competition. You acknowledge that once your entry is accepted the service is fully performed, and that you therefore lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Entries are non-refundable except as set out in Clause 9.

5Skill Question

5.1 Entry requires the correct answer to a question requiring skill, knowledge or judgement.

5.2 Online entrants who select an incorrect answer cannot proceed to checkout and are not charged. Postal entrants who supply an incorrect answer are not entered into the draw and their entry is void.

5.3 The skill question for a Competition is the same for all entrants.

6The Draw

6.1 Winners are selected by a verifiably random method (random number generator or equivalent) from all valid entries.

6.2 Draws are streamed live on our Instagram (or another channel announced in advance on the Platform).

6.3 Every Competition has a guaranteed winner. If fewer than 80% of tickets have sold by the stated closing date, we may extend the Competition once, by no more than 14 days, announced on the Platform. At the end of any extension the draw takes place regardless of sales and the full advertised prize is awarded.

6.4 We may close a Competition early once all tickets sell out, in which case the draw date will be announced on the Platform at least 24 hours in advance.

6.5 In the event of an administrative or technical error affecting a draw, we may declare the affected draw void and re-run it. The Promoter's decision on all Competition matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into, save for the complaints process in Clause 13.

7Winners

7.1 We will contact the winner using the details provided at entry within 5 working days of the draw.

7.2 If a winner does not respond within 14 days of first contact, or fails identity/age verification, the prize is forfeited and we may re-draw. We will make at least three attempts to contact the winner before any re-draw.

7.3 The winner's first name and county may be announced on the Platform and our social channels as a record that the prize was awarded. Wider publicity (photos, videos, interviews) is entirely optional and only with the winner's consent.

8Prizes

8.1 The prize is as described on the competition page at the time of entry. Images are illustrative; minor variations in colour or specification may occur.

8.2 A cash alternative is available only where expressly stated on the competition page and is not negotiable.

8.3 Prizes are non-transferable and may not be sold or exchanged without our written agreement.

8.4 Delivery is free to mainland UK. Delivery elsewhere in the UK may incur costs agreed with the winner in advance. Risk in the prize passes to the winner on delivery; ownership passes on handover.

8.5 Bikes are delivered new and PDI'd (unless stated otherwise) with any applicable manufacturer's warranty. We give no additional warranty, and after delivery your remedies are against the manufacturer under that warranty, without affecting your statutory rights.

8.6 Off-road vehicles: electric dirt bikes such as Surron and Talaria models are supplied as off-road vehicles and are not road legal in the UK without registration and compliance work. The winner is solely responsible for lawful use, registration and insurance where applicable, use of appropriate safety equipment, and riding within their ability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from use of a prize after delivery.

8.7 Winners of any age-restricted or vehicle prize must be 18+ and may be required to sign an acknowledgement of the above before handover.

9Refunds & Cancellation by Us

9.1 If we cancel a Competition before the draw, all paid entries are refunded in full to the original payment method within 14 days.

9.2 If an obvious pricing or ticket-allocation error affects an entry, we may void the entry and refund it.

9.3 Except as above, entries are non-refundable, including where an entrant changes their mind, is disqualified under these terms, or does not win.

10Conduct, Fraud & Chargebacks

10.1 We may disqualify, without refund, any entrant who provides false information, uses fraudulent payment methods, uses bots or automation, tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or draw, opens multiple accounts, or is abusive to our team or other entrants.

10.2 Raising an unjustified chargeback on a valid entry is a breach of these terms. We reserve the right to void the related entries, exclude the entrant from future Competitions, and recover reasonable costs incurred in disputing unjustified chargebacks.

11Responsible Play

11.1 Please only spend what you can afford. Our competitions are for entertainment.

11.2 You may ask us to close your account or exclude you from purchasing entries at any time by emailing support@wgtcompetitions.com. If you feel your play is becoming a problem, support is available free at BeGambleAware.org.

12Data Protection

12.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy — to administer Competitions, confirm entries, deliver prizes, meet our legal obligations, and (only with consent) send marketing.

12.2 We never sell personal data. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

13Complaints

13.1 If something has gone wrong, email support@wgtcompetitions.com with your order number. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and resolve them within 14 days.

14Liability

14.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

14.2 Subject to 14.1, our total liability to any entrant is limited to the total amount that entrant has paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14.3 Subject to 14.1, we are not responsible for: entries lost or delayed due to technical or postal failures outside our control; interruption or unavailability of the Platform; failures of third-party payment providers; or any indirect or consequential loss.

15General

15.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or your local UK courts where you have a legal right to bring proceedings there).

15.2 We may amend these terms from time to time. Changes apply to Competitions launched after the change is published and never retroactively to entries already accepted.

15.3 If any clause is found invalid, the remainder continue in full force. These terms are the entire agreement between you and the Promoter regarding the Competitions.
